There is something so phenomenal about discovering your inspiration…to clean. I have searched for years and I believe I have finally discovered the secret: have the girls come over.

It’s Tired Out Today

By, Sonja Stewart

I think my coffee may be broken…I just can’t seem to wake up.

I know if I put in my walking dvd I would get the blood rushing which would get me to wake up more, but just the thought of it makes me want to crawl back into my warm snuggly bed and fall asleep.

Creativity Stores in Fat Cells

By, Sonja Stewart

True story. I honestly believe fat cells keep ideas stored inside of them. It’s got to be scientific, in some amazing doctor’s journal somewhere published in make believe,

usa. The thing is, every time I put on my little workout walking dvd, I come up with amazing ideas. Sure, it probably has something to do with the blood flow getting all the way to my brain or whatever, but I like to believe all my fat cells are being zapped by the enormous amount of cardio I’m doing, and as they release into the atmosphere, they let my great ideas escape from their globulous prison and I become inspired.

Walk off the Weight, Baby.

By, Sonja Stewart

Or should I say, walk the baby weight off?

No matter.

People have been asking me how I lost the baby weight. Well, that’s not exactly true. No one has asked me how I lost the baby weight. But I wanted to share a little trick that made it a whole lot easier since I know a ton of moms who struggle with losing the weight post baby.

Crap!

By, Sonja Stewart

We are at an interesting phase in parentdom currently. Our little 23 month old has learned some great and not so great things. I am partially responsible for the not so great things.

I’ll start at the beginning.

A few months ago, my husband and I decided to improve our vocabulary. No, we didn’t decide to break out a thesaurus, we just agreed that we would no longer let bad language slip into our daily vernacular. Our tot was listening to every word we said and blah blah blah…we didn’t need that type of language in our life anyway. Not to say we were cussing like sailors, just every now and then…when a hammer would hit a thumb, or a glass would break, our words would slip out unexpectedly.

Lunar Eclipse and Sunshine

I haven’t written in a couple days because the sun came out. I live in the pacific northwest, (Astoria, Oregon to be mo7re specific.) so here in the “specific” northwest, the sun hardly likes to show it’s face for more than a few minutes in between summers. Well, we had three days or sunshine…absolutely gorgeous, blazing warm sunshine. It must have hit 55 degrees here! Jeff’s dad came up from7 southern California to help his you7ngest son make the move to Portland. Astoria, as she always does when visitors com7e, put on her pretty face. Not a cloud in the sky…ships came in, lazily from7 faraway asian countries and docked in the sandbar, waiting for their pilot captains to putter out and navigate them through the mucky sandtraps.

Ghetto Bambi and Cornflake Crumbs

By, Sonja Stewart

So, here’s a little insight into my world as of late:

We had a VHS video of Bambi, the loveable Disney classic that is adored by millions of children and adults around the world.
My Jojo is one of the adorers.

She watched Bambi over and over until the VCR ate the tape.
Why did we have a VHS, you ask. Why not buy the DVD?
