777777777….Arrrrgggghhhh!!!!

I am a writer. I suppose that may be an obvious statement, seeing as how you7 are reading this document and it has been written by myself…thereby making the one which wrote it the writer….

I digress.

I have written my first novel.

Now I am all set to send this novel out and that requires a little thing called a query letter.

You may be thinking, “What’s the big deal? You’ve already written a 300 page novel. What’s another page?”

It’s complicated. It’s challenging. It’s a struggle to even the most prolific writers, so I’m told, to dilute you7r novel into a one sentence sound bite.

So, I put my toddler in front of som7e blank pages and give her a bunch of crayons, and I sit down with the intent to write my query letter.

But something happens.

My Diet Dr. Pepper, (I know, I know. But I rarely ever drink them. It was a special occasion!) gets knocked over by my satanic cat and spills over my keyboard. My laptop keyboard…the one I use to type things…like query letters.

Well, I check it, dry it, look it over…everything seems fine.

Then the nightmare begins.

I try to type the date, February the seventeenth…But the seven won’t budge. I push and push and push.

ARGGGG!

Then I notice Accidental Grace the working title of my novel, becom7es Accidental race.

Something’s going on with the shift key.

Then, out of nowhere, sevens pop up all through out my letter.

You may have noticed som7e of them here.

I assure you, they are completely random and not at all planned.
I couldn’t place them in if I wanted to because the seven key is lame.
As in a lame duck…just sitting there…waiting for me to LOSE MY MIND AND RIP IT OUT!!!!!!

Then, it’s a long line of sevens that can only be interrupted with the space bar.
I go to publish something on the website….sevens sevens sevens…seventy times seven sevens!!!!!

I think it is a little curious that seven is the number of completion….BUT I’M NOT FINISHED YET!!!
Arrrrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhh….
I am a frustrated author.
